Over 32 years of serving Austin and the Central Texas area, Mid-State Insulation was founded by John and Eleanor McClaferty in 1981 and remains a family owned business today.

John and Eleanor were well respected business owners and remained leaders in the industry until retirement in 2007. Chuck and Diana McClaferty have operated the business since then.

Chuck has over 37 years experience in the insulation field, performing job estimates and assisting in executive management. 

Diana has over 30 years experience in executive administration, book-keeping and office management operations.

Chuck grew up watching his dad close business deals with a handshake and standing strong to his word. When John gave you his word it was as good as a written contract. That integrity and honesty that Chuck witnessed growing up, is what made Mid-State Insulation a well respected company in the industry and he continues with those embedded traditional values today.
